@brentsimmons The stock market and so many other parts of the economy. In Virginia, whenI was younger it felt like we'd just alternate between republican and democratic goverors. The republicans would almost always screw up the state budget and economy, and the democrat would have to clean up the mess. Then, just as we were getting on good footing again another republican would get elected and we'd have to start over. Thankfully we've been trending more and more democratic and we've actually had several responsible democrats in charge in a row.
